If you have a burning question in need of an answer, website Aardvark wants to help you find someone to answer it. All you have to do is ask.
Well, there's a little more to it than just asking, but it doesn't get much more complicated. Once you ask your first question on the site, you'll be prompted to sign up for Aardvark.
Aardvark works because of its users. While you could simply use it whenever you have a question, the answers come from other users, so it's good to answer a few questions when you can to keep the answers flowing. You can choose topics you're knowledgeable about so you're presented with questions you can actually answer, rather than just anything that's coming through the pipeline when you're signed in.
If you're posing a question to others, it's pretty straightforward. You just type it in and wait. Aardvark's default contact method is via email, but you can also set it up to work via instant messenger. You won't be contacted by people directly, but by an automated Aardvark IM bot. You'll receive multiple answers and, depending on the question, a request for additional information. When you receive an answer it'll look like this:
Aardvark even has a thank you button for when you want to show your gratitude for the help you received. Aardvark is a free service and it can get you answers fast.
