Popular web app suite Zoho has added a web-based calendar app to its currently mail- and documents-based arsenal, complete with all the features you've come to expect from a calendar in the cloud, like sharing, subscriptions and embedding.
We've talked a lot about Zoho web apps, especially comparing their office suite to more popular alternatives like Google Docs and OpenOffice.org. Zoho's office suite is pretty feature-packed, and while the new calendar web app doesn't seem to offer more than Google Calendar, it certainly isn't anything to sneeze at, either.
If you fall into the more anti-Google crowd (or just don't feel the need to use all of their services), Zoho Calendar has a lot to offer. All the features that make web calendars great are there, like multiple calendars, sharing, embedding, import and export, reminders and subscriptions. In addition, Zoho has conveniently made an Outlook plugin to sync events, for those using outlook, as well as a clean mobile web interface for smartphone users. If you've been looking for a Google Calendar alternative, this is definitely one you'll want to check out — hit the link to take a look, and let us know what you think of the new service in the comments.
