We've shown you how to build your own smoker out of flower pots, but if you're looking for something a bit simpler (and happen to have a wok on hand), you can make one in your kitchen with minimal effort.
All you need for this little hack is some aluminium foil, a round cooling rack, and some wood chips (which you can get at many hardware or cooking supply stores). Alternatively, you can make a mix of kosher salt, sugar, rice, and tea leaves mixed with water instead of wood chips.
All you need to do is line the wok with aluminium foil, put the wood chip or tea leaf mixture in the bottom, and put the cooling rack on top. Your food goes on the cooling rack and gets covered with more aluminium foil, after which you can smoke it by putting it right on the stove.
