Chrome: If dragging and dropping your tabs for cross-window relocation seems slow — and it is! — Tab Manager puts super speedy tab management in a toolbar icon.
Installing Tab Manager puts a small icon in your Google Chrome Toolbar which, when clicked upon, displays all your Chrome Windows and their tabs. In the screenshot above we have three instances of Chrome open, across three monitors. Clicking on the favicon of any given tab will bring that tab to the foreground. Clicking and dragging allows you to easily swap the tab from one instance to another.
You end up dragging the icon a few pixels within the Tab Manager interface instead of from one monitor to another or having to partially minimise one Chrome instance over another to even be able to drag and drop the tab. Tab Manager is a free Google Chrome extension and works wherever Google Chrome does. Have a favourite tool for managing tabs in Google Chrome? Let's hear about it in the comments.
