Lifehacker reader Jason Burns moved into a new place and had a bedroom perfect for a home office — except for the dated carpet, wall colour and trim. He ripped everything out and put in hardwood floors, new trim, painted the walls red, and packed it with an assortment of computers, monitors and other digital toys.
