Web mapping spot MapQuest has been quietly making their app much more convenient and easy to get around. Maps can now go nearly full screen, zooming can be done with a mouse wheel and Live Traffic covers thousands more roads.
The first two additions are fairly self-explanatory, but the newest traffic view upgrade brings MapQuest's total to a quarter of a million roads covered across the US. MapQuest also claims that their traffic provider, INRIX, factors in stop lights and other factors in determining traffic conditions, rather than relying on raw data on which cars are stopped on which roads.
What else makes MapQuest a better pick for you over Google, Bing or other web maps?
