If you're wondering whether your router really needs a reset, or if you want a second opinion on downforeveryoneorjustme.com's advice, Google Chrome appears to be letting its users know when other Chrome users can't reach a site, according to one Lifehacker reader.
Commenter fravel.cj shared a screenshot of Chrome's generic "Oops!" message for pages that won't load at all and noticed the wording that "Other users are also experiencing difficulties connecting to this site, so you may have to wait a few minutes." The discovery was made on an attempt at Netflix access, so the exact threshold of which sites Chrome is monitoring, and how many users constitutes a worthy notice, are uncertain. Still, it's a pretty neat reality check to be built into a browser.
