We've shown you how to play video games on your iDevice with a Wiimote, and there are ways to do it with Android too. Some clever DIY hackers have made this experience even better by creating Wiimote attachments for their phones.
PPCGeeks forum user syanni85 and YouTube user baza210 have both created their own DIY mounts for their respective phones, to create a more streamlined handheld gaming experience on their phones. Baza210's mod, shown above, uses just a bicycle handlebar mount for a Nexus One and some rubber bands to tie it all together. It's a great mod, but is unfortunately device-specific, so if your phone doesn't have an available bike mount this may not be so easily done.
Syanni85's, on the other hand, involves cutting up a Wiimote steering-wheel accessory and using a more universal smartphone car mount. It probably takes a little bit more work (because it involves unscrewing, cutting and gluing) and doesn't look quite as comfortable, but should work with pretty much any phone you want, so it's a great option if there aren't as many peripherals available for your phone.
