Customise Your Outlook Calendar View

By default, Outlook offers daily, weekly, work week and monthly views, which would seem to cover most typical needs. However, you can customise it to display any time period you want.

Microsoft's Crabby Office Lady blog points out this often-ignored option. Just click on the start date you want in the Outlook navigation calendar in the top left corner, hold the shift key and click on the end date. You can also hold down Control to select individual days. Your calendar adjusts to show just the dates selected. Clicking on the month navigation buttons will skip to the same time period in other months.

You can also press "Alt" and a number key to stipulate how many days you want to display within day view. Alt+0 will display 10 days.
