Windows only: If you're a Chrome fan and want to see the very latest in features and fixes, even if potentially unstable, you've now got a Canary Build. It's an auto-updating, near-nightly build that runs separately from your standard Chrome installation.
If you grab and install a Canary Build, it will go into a totally separate space from any other Chrome installation you've got, whether stable, beta or dev. While the dev channel of Chrome updates about once a week with the latest goods from the Chromium open-source project, the Canary Build could be updated near-nightly in some instances and could be slightly ahead of the Dev version in number, as its developers explain. So Canary Build makes perfect sense for those who like to test things out, but want a nice, steady fall-back browser for regular use.
Chrome's Canary Build is a free download for Windows systems only.
