Storing pots and pans is annoying. The pots nest so nicely but finding the right spot for the lids is a chore. Hang them easily with this clever and cheap project.
It’s easy to stack your pots in a cabinet but not so easy to stack the lids. Store your lids on a wall or inside the door of the cabinet by converting a cheap curtain rod into a lid holder. You’ll need a pair or two of cheap curtain rods, available everywhere from big grocery stores to home improvement stores. You’ll also need a hacksaw and a screwdriver to mount the brackets. Saw the length of the rod to fit the space you want to hang the lids in and attach it with the brackets. The lids slide between the rod and wall and the handles rest on the rod to keep the lids from falling through. Unlike commercial holders which may have partitions or spacers, this DIY version is smooth all the way across making it super easy to change out which lids are where without fussing with the rack.
