Long showers are something many of us can pull off without thinking about it. Want more time in the morning and less impact on the Earth? Try a custom-made playlist you can sing to for shorter showers.
The "Short Sharp Showercast" is offered up as a free ZIP package and stream previews of eight tracks, all of them from indie artists, most of them catchy as anything, and all of them short enough that if you time your rinse, lather, optional repeat to them, you'll be out a lot faster than you'd think, and probably without missing too much. As Rosa at Gizmodo points out, singing a particular length of song can also be used as a self-training device, where you learn how to vigorously and efficiently wash yourself to the timing of the song.
There are exceptions, of course, and sometimes you'll just want a leisurely bit of hot water time. But, then again, that's what a bath can be for.
What's your shower routine bounded by? Do you sing a particular song, and if so, what?
