IconViewer Extracts Hidden Icons From Applications

Windows only: Free plug-in IconViewer adds a new tab to Windows Explorer's properties screen that views, copies and saves the icons hidden inside Windows applications and libraries.

Once you've installed the plug-in, you can right-click on any executable or DLL file and use the new Icons tab to see a list of the icons within the file. You can then save any of the icons out into a separate file, which can be used when creating shortcuts to control your PC, tweaking your Chrome applications by web app, or if you just prefer having a neatly organised set of icons to use.

IconViewer is a free download for Windows only, and readers using Windows x64 should make sure to download the 64-bit version of the plug-in.
