If you've spent much time searching through your iPhone or Android phone's respective app store and wished you could just use your friendly neighbourhood Google search box, good news: Google just added iPhone and Android search results to mobile search.
The bad news: It doesn't work all that well yet. Some popular apps, like Pandora's streaming radio app, showed up just like expected (I searched both "download shazam" and "shazam app"). Others — including popular apps like Dropbox or TweetDeck — didn't. We'd imagine Google will work hard to improve this over time, so it's certainly a quick app search alternative worth keeping in mind.
It's currently only available in the US, it will be coming to other countries and devices.
