Android: AppAware allows you to see not just what apps are popular by download or what rating people initially gave the app — and then forgot to update later — but what users are actually doing, installing and uninstalling applications.
AppAware is a social monitoring tool. You install it and it anonymously — unless you want to set up a profile and promote yourself — notes when you install and uninstall applications. It uses this information to compile a list of which applications are installed, removed and how long users keep them. This information is used to provide list-based rankings as well as the meter seen in the screenshot here.
Search the Android Marketplace or scan the QR code at right to download AppAware. If all of that sounds awesome but you really don't like the idea of having the application on your phone you can skip participating in the AppAware experiment and opt to just read the results on their website at the link below.
