ANZ Repeats Free Wi-Fi Campaign

Last October, ANZ offered free Wi-Fi in cafes, ferries and train stations. The marketing experiment must have gone well, because ANZ is repeating it from now until the end of September.

As well as covering 100 cafes in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane over that period, ANZ will also offer free Wi-Fi on the Manly Ferry in Sydney from June 21 to August 22, and at Melbourne's Southern Cross station until the end of September. There's a full list of locations on the bank site, though annoyingly it's in PDF form.

If your travels take you outside those areas, don't forget to check our guide to finding free Wi-Fi.

    Hey Angus,

Thanks for the heads up on the Free wifi, however I think you mean "Manly" Ferry. *wink*

A bit OT but what a great picture of Southern Cross. It's the greyest train station in existence and this picture makes it look like a cool place. Well done.

Southerncross, aside from the name given it should have just stayed spencer street, is a great station. Platforms that clear quickly, decent walk ways between all its main areas, seamless flow to the stadium next door, clear break up of VLine and Metro services. its one of the few things the government did ok at if you ignore the time delays and budgets.

Southern Cross has no character, it's too... metallic.
