If you're looking for a way to not just take notes at your desk but on it, this desktop modification turns your entire desk into a white board.
We've heard of people using panel board as a cheap white board — like in the office of 38one — but this is the first time we've seen anyone use it as a work surface. At the electronics blog Curious Inventor, they were inspired by the desks at Atlanta's hackerspace Freeside so they went home and bought a sheet of panel board (sometimes called "shower board") and cut it to fit their own workspace.
Not only is it an interesting way to be able to take notes directly to your work surface, we can only imagine how easy the glossy white surface is to clean. Check out the link below or sound off in the comments with your own desk modification ideas.
