If you want to quickly and collaboratively edit documents with no fuss or burden on the other parties editing with you, Sync.in offers dead simple collaborative document editing with one-click sharing.

The biggest selling point for Sync.in, clean and easy to use interface aside, is how simple it is to invite someone to collaborate with you. You can go from loading the editor at Sync.in to inviting collaborators in a matter of seconds. Each collaborator is assigned a colour and all text they edit or add is highlighted in that colour. To the right side of the document — which we've loaded in a very small browser window in the screenshot above just so we could crunch all the elements into a smaller picture for you! — is a chat window so collaborators can communicate while they're editing.
Additionally you can download a desktop client for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux if you want to edit offline in the Sync.in editor before connecting with your collaborators. When you're done working you can export both the document itself — as HTML, plain text or a bookmark file — and export the revision history too if you'd like the ability to go back and review and undo past revisions.
Sync.in is a free service with a $US2 a month premium service which adds in features like bulk export, public notes and a custom sub-domain.
