There's nothing like making your own hamburger patties from mince instead of buying them pre-made, but it's hard to get them perfectly shaped over and over again. Here's how to do it with just the lid from a jar.
Some of you may have been using this tip for years, but we were shocked to learn how easy it was to make perfectly-formed hamburger patties. All you need to do is get a jar lid the size you would like your patties, lay some plastic wrap inside it, and firmly press the meat down into the lid until it flattens. Flip the lid over and you've got a perfectly round, flat patty that you can make over and over again. It's simple, but it's sure to make your hamburgers a bit easier to make (and eat).
