You can't afford to buy an old warehouse and pay modern architects to forge it into a beautiful workspace. New coffee table tome I Wish I Worked There! showcases the interiors of 20 style-minded corporations you can at least draw inspiration from.
Kursty Groves' book, recently out in hardcover, takes a photographic tour around the workspaces and common areas of Dyson, Google, the LEGO Group, Phillips Design and other firms with an incentive to look good and seem functional. Like the workspaces of famous folks, they give some insight into how people organise their spaces to facilitate creation and productivity, as well as the peculiar minds behind the design.
You can glimpse three preview photos of four different firms at the book's site, as well as add your own workspace dreams to the Flickr group. If you've seen an amazing workspace you wish you worked in, we'll hear your prayers in the comments.
