Xmarks Lets You Open Synced Tabs From Any Browser

Browser syncing multi-tool Xmarks recently opened up open tab syncing across browsers, and now goes the extra mile to let you see those tabs you had open, and open them, from any browser.

That’s especially helpful for mobile browsers, which lack Xmarks support at the moment, but also for when you leave a tab open at home and need to get to it at work — where you might not have Xmarks installed, for a multitude of reasons. To get at your synced tabs, make sure you have tab syncing enabled in your options, then head to my.xmarks.com from any browser.

  • @ Bubkes – I use Read It Later for this purpose – if there’s something I like the look of while I’m at work and want to read properly at home, I use the RIL bookmarklet and then I have everything at home (or anywhere else). This works especially well for those one off pages, rather than cluttering up my “real” bookmarks.
