Setting up a functional and effective workspace for yourself is challenging. Setting up a workspace that does that and serves two people at the same time — while being visible from the rest of your house! — is an even bigger challenge.
Lifehacker reader Ounelly70 and his wife turned their dining room into a home office. They wanted enough space for both of them, flexibility to work sitting or standing, and enough desk space to support different monitors and computer configurations. Appearance was also a concern as the dining room was quite visible from other areas of the house and anything eyesore in the office would carry over into other areas of the home.
The gallery below shows off their handy work — multiple computers, monitors, desks and even a PS3 console all tucked away neatly in a triple-workstation office.
