Sure you can hang clothes on the shower rod or be content with a simple drying rack in the laundry room. This DIY indoor clothes line, however, makes excellent use of a small space and provides abundant room for wet clothes.
Most drying racks and even commercial laundry-room lines are too short on actual drying space. This clever clothes line setup doubles the line back upon itself a dozen times in a small space that would have otherwise gone unused — not only is the line itself space efficient but the use of the wasted space in the laundry room is a double-whammy of space management.
You can easily adapt the design to fit any size laundry room. You just need a length of wood to mount to the wall and some eyelet screws to screw into the piece of supporting wood — in the example above they cleverly used heavy-duty magnets to hook their line to the side of the furnace and duct work.
