Snow Leopard 10.6.3 Update Released With Fixes Galore

Apple just pushed the latest and greatest release of Snow Leopard out the door with the OS X 10.6.3 update. We don't see any great new features in the update, but it's packed with useful fixes and improvements. Highlights include:

  • printing reliability
  • sleep and wake reliability when using Bonjour wake on demand
  • the reliability of certain third-party USB devices
  • DNS server ordering as specified in Network Preferences and DNS reliability
  • the reliability and compatibility of QuickTime X
  • issues copying, renaming or deleting files on an SMB server volume
  • improvements to 802.1X reliability
