With broadband market penetration, mailing a physical disc of information might seem quaint. Still for those times when you need to mail a CD or DVD, this DIY recycled mailer is quite clever.
The hack is super simple. Rinse out your milk or juice carton. Cut along the top and bottom. Flatten the carton. Cut the carton down to size — a few inches taller than your disc — and then cut the top and bottom edges to have a "flap" you can fold down a tape in place. It's simple, sturdy and about the same weight and thickness as a regular commercial CD mailer.
