Over the weekend, we told you about Google's new location-based option for filtering searches. A Google Australia spokesperson has confirmed to Lifehacker that this option hasn't yet been added to the google.com.au site (which is where you'll end up if you visit google.com from an Australian IP address). However, if you select the 'Go to Google.com' option from that page, you can access the location filtering option. It's hardly the ideal implementation, but better than nothing we suppose.
