Automatically Sync Your Media Library When You Plug In Your Android Phone

Mobile computing blog Mobiputing highlights how to automatically sync your Android device using previously mentioned DoubleTwist, your Android phone and a free Android app called Auto Mount.

If you're an Android user, chances are you're syncing your media to your device's SD card — which works great, except you have to manually mount your SD card every time you want to sync your device. Like its name implies, Auto Mount will run in the background, detect when you plug your Android into your computer, and automatically mount your SD card for you so your syncing will likewise happen automatically. Hit up the short guide over at Mobicomputing for more details, and if you've got a method you've been using to automate your Android's syncing process, let's hear about it in the comments.

    One of the reasons I bought an android phone is it connects as a generic mass storage device. Call me old fashioned, but I hate programs trying to sync music that it thinks I will listen to. i just copy over album folders onto my card and thats that :)

      @Thepengwin, i'm with you brother.
