Google is launching the YouTube Nonprofit Program in Australia, letting eligible charities and other non-profit organisations set up their own YouTube channels to promote their work.
Pretty much anyone can establish their own YouTube content, of course, but the scheme offers a number of benefits not available to the average user, including the ability to embed a 'call to action' (such as a request for donations) directly within the video. Worth thinking about if your volunteer or charity work could use a digital edge.
