Nothing says "I'm thinking of you" better than a box of chocolate truffles. Unless of course they're homemade chocolate truffles, and then, well, that's just too cool for words. These yummy Valentine's Day candies come together with only three ingredients.
All you need to make these truffles are a bag of Oreos, a package of cream cheese, and some semi-sweet baking chocolate. Finely crush nine Oreos to roll the truffle balls in when they're done, and set aside. Eat two Oreos, then crush the rest to mix with the softened cream cheese.
Interior styling blog Making Arrangements tells you what to do next:
Roll cookie mixture into 42 balls, about 1-inch in diameter. Dip balls in chocolate using 2 forks or tongs; place on wax paper-covered baking sheet. (Any leftover chocolate can be stored at room temperature for another use.) Sprinkle with reserved cookie crumbs or colorful sprinkles, if you wish.
Stick them in the fridge for about an hour, then wrap them up and give them to your sweetheart this weekend. Or, just eat them yourself — we won't tell.
