Google Reader just expanded their recommended section, tweaking the popular items they launched last year to add a little more personal flair:
When we launched Popular items many of you wanted to see even more personalised recommendations. With the latest round of improvements, we've started inserting items selected just for you inside the Recommended items section. This is great if you've got interests that are less mainstream. If you love Lego robots, for example, then you should start to notice more of them in your Recommended items.
The update also ushers in more ways to find feeds related to content you like. Just click the drop-down button next to a feed in the left sidebar and choose More like this context from the menu. It's a small, but not too shabby, update. [Official Google Reader Blog]
