Windows: If you’d like to experiment with taking panoramic pictures without having to do a ton of tinkering with specialised software, Windows Live Photo Gallery can help.
Over at the software and how-to site MakeUseOf, they’ve put together a tutorial on using the Panorama feature in Windows Live Photo Gallery. Before you start of course, you’ll need pictures to create your panoramic image. We’d suggest reading over this previously covered guide to taking great panoramic photos. Once you have the photos it’s as easy as highlighting the images you want to use and clicking Make -> Create Panoramic Photo in the menu of Windows Live Photo Gallery. Check out the full tutorial at MakeUseOf to see it in action.
Want more out of your panoramic photos? We put together a guide to making panoramas with fantastic free software like Hugin and AutoPano.
Windows Live Photo Gallery is freeware, Windows only. Have a favourite panoramic tool? Let’s hear about it in the comments.
