There's more to getting a great shave than just using a good razor. Elizabeth Seward over at eco-blog Planet Green put together a recipe for skin-soothing shaving cream that uses only two ingredients: sunflower oil and glycerine. Once you melted them together in a double boiler, just pour the mixture into a mug and let it cool. The next time you shave, add a little water and use a shaving cream brush to work it into a lather.
