Back in March, we showed you Laptopfriendlycafes.com, which helped you track down independent purveyors of coffee who also offered Wi-Fi and power on the side. Now iPhone owners can do their research direct from their phone with a dedicated app.
The iPhone version uses geolocation to identify the nearest cafe from its database, and offers up directions from Google Maps. If you're not an iPhone user, the site itself had a healthy refresh since we last checked it, with a lot more cities on the list (including four in Australia: Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Hobart). The iPhone version still only covers the four "core cities" for the application (London, New York, Melbourne and Sydney). The iPhone application costs $1.19.
