Gadgets are great but nobody wants a hallway table littered with charging gadgets and cables. This novel hack turns an opaque vase into a secret charging station.
Instructables user Michael Pap was sick of the clutter that surrounded his gadgets, especially when they were all tethered and charging. Commercial charging stations can help wrangle and conceal your cords but they don't do much to diminish the look-at-my-pile-of-stuff effect of having your phone, MP3 player and other gear plugged in. He decided to turn a vase into a charging station by drilling a hole for a power cord and using a cork mat to make a tray inside the vase.:
