It's become common in most households to recycle your discarded paper. Instead of tossing it in the bin, try making your own notepads, customised with a photo or two, to squeeze a little more life out of your scraps.
DIY photo site Photojojo has a fun tutorial detailing the process of cutting, gluing and binding your own notepads using leftover scraps. It's not as difficult as you might think, and they've even decked out the notepads with photos bookending your paper scraps to give them a finished appearance.
All you need is the scrap paper, an X-acto knife, binder clips and some glue, so it's a cheap DIY you can tackle with items you may already have on hand. Sure you can make one for yourself, but they'd also make great gifts for the upcoming holidays.
