Magnetic Knife Strip Keeps Drillbits Handy And Organised

Organising your home garage or workshop isn't always as efficient or affordable as it appears to be. Try repurposing a magnetic knife strip to keep small bits in line.

The hardest things to keep organised in your garage/workshop are the things you use most often. Screwdrivers and drill bits fall into that category around our home, and no matter how much we think we are returning things to their proper place, screwdriver and drill bits are easy to lose.

The home decor folks at Better Homes and Gardens have a smart suggestion for using a magnetic knife strip—the kind you'll sometimes find the kitchen—to keep things in order. It can mount directly to your workbench or wall and keep things on visual display.

These strips also work well to hold things like scissors and keys. Do you use a magnetic knife strip for something other than knives? Sound off in the comments.

Yeah, except if you use your tools for anything to do with the computer, you should avoid anything magnetic whatsoever.

The bits over time become magnetised so, clump together when using more than one drill bit away from the rack.
