There was a time when, if you wanted to build a really precise Google query, you had to learn some obscure search tricks. These days Google's new search options make refining searches simple, and today GOOG's added a few more options.
Specifically, they've added nine new tweaks in the form of: past hour, specific date range, more shopping sites, fewer shopping sites, visited pages, not yet visited, books, blogs and news. Most of the options are relatively self-explanatory, but it's worth noting that options like visited/not yet visited pages will only work if you have Google Web History enabled and you're logged into your Google account.
If you've been using the new Google Search Options tools, let's hear how you like them in the comments. And if you really like them, here's how to expand the Search Options sidebar by default.
