Foxtel Downloads Should Start Working At Midday

If, like us, you headed to your PC first thing this morning to test out Foxtel’s new download service, you’ll have been disappointed (but perhaps not surprised) to still see a “coming in October” message. I’ve just chatted to a Foxtel spokesperson and the service is currently scheduled to go live at midday AEST. If you get it working earlier, let us know in the comments.


  • Well, it’s up now. Sad thing is it’s only in SD. Apparently they’ll investigate HD downloads when the ‘average user’s download speeds increase’. Still, we’re talking downloads of 250MB+. Also sucks that it’s not for Mac – both my HTPCs are Mac minis. At least you can play while downloading.
