Windows/Mac/Linux: Opera’s not yet putting its neat, if confusing, Unite Server into its beta builds yet, but the latest bleeding-edge browser does fix bugs, log crashes, and let you place the neat visual tab bar wherever you’d like.
If you dig having visual tab previews in Opera but don’t necessarily want them taking up vertical space at the top, right-click on the tab bar and select “Tab Bar Placement” to move it to the left, right, or bottom. Similarly, your other toolbars can be placed on those sides, or made floating.
Opera’s development team says there are new indicators for tabs that are unread, along with more language availability and lots of stability work. Opera fans, tell us how this beta stacks up to the stable releases, or previous 10 betas, in the comments.
