HootSuite Organises Your Twitter Activity In Your Browser

Twitter started out as a simple enough idea: tell people what’s going on with you in 140 characters or less. Now it’s evolved to become a tool for crowdsourcing and trendspotting. HootSuite can help you stay on top of it all.

Whether you’re using Twitter to build an online presence or just keep up with current trends and friends, online Twitter client HootSuite can help organise your Twitterverse. You can manage multiple twitter accounts from a central dashboard and tweet, retweet, reply, and direct message using any one or more of those accounts. You can also have HootSuite schedule a tweet to be sent later and automatically send tweets from your blog feed. Check out the video demo above to see these features and more in action.

HootSuite is free and upgrades to the new version 2.0 are available for a song tweet. In order to link up your Twitter account with HootSuite, you do have to give them your username and password, which may be a deal-breaker for some. If you’d prefer a desktop option that’ll give you many of the features offered by HootSuite, take a look at previously mentioned TweetDeck.

If you’ve got something to say about HootSuite, let’s hear it in the comments.
