If you’re using your iPhone camera more than your point-and-shoot these days (it is the most popular camera on Flickr), chances are you’ve got a fair amount of shaky shots to show for it. This DIY iPhone tripod mount can help.
Using a cheap rubber iPhone case, a few nuts and screws, a little epoxy, glue, and some spray paint to make it all pretty, DIYer Jason Quinn details how he built his cheap iPhone tripod mount.
This isn’t the first DIY mount we’ve seen (check out our previously mentioned guide to turning a cheap iPhone case into a tripod), but it is a nice, simple approach that will allow you to affix your cameraphone to any tripod. Obviously this basic idea would work with any cameraphone, so it’s not exactly limited to the iPhone if you wanted to give it a go with your BlackBerry, Android, etc.
