Stargazers have been enjoying the sky in Google Earth for a couple of years now, but the addition of the Moon is a great way to appreciate the accomplishments of the crew of the Apollo missions. The new features let you browse the Moon's surface with historical charts from mission plans, view artefacts left behind by humans, and check out landing sites from the various Apollo missions. You can even take a guided tour of the Apollo 11 landing narrated by author Andrew Chaikin with some excellent additional audio from Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin (you know, the #2 moonwalker to Armstrong).
