Sometimes you have to set up a temporary office during construction, this temporary office however is nice enough to keep once the dust settles.
Lifehacker reader uberrob is in the process of doing some renovation on his home. Until the renovations are done and he’s claimed one of the new rooms as his office proper, he’s turned a guest room into into his temporary office. It’s no laptop balanced on a stack of paper boxes mind you, he’s sporting a Sony-centric bank of monitors and laptops running a mixture of Windows and Linux, controlled by a wireless mouse and keyboard. The receiver for the wireless keyboard/mouse combo is mounted under the desk, as is a fairly extensive and tidy cable management system as seen in the pictures.
