If you're the adventurous sort who's ready to ditch PowerPoint for a web-based alternative, Google Docs isn't the only option, and in many cases, it's probably not the best option, either.
Previously mentioned applications like <a href="http://www.lifehacker.com.au/2008/12/slideshare_ribbon_puts_web_sharing_tools_in_powerpoint-2/SlideShare and Sliderocket cover this same territory. Still, it's easier to bet on Google, so if you're more comfortable with the big G than others, you'll be glad to know that Google Docs continues to improve its online presentation tool, adding multi-shape formatting, more advanced text-box manipulation and better slide navigation. Think you may eventually be willing to give Google Docs (or another online alternative) a try for your presentations? Let's hear your thoughts in the comments.
