We recently offered some tips for hacking your home office, but if you’re looking for a way to map out and furniture your entire home, Project DragonFly’s web application can help.
DragonFly lets you click, drag, and rotate furniture, rooms, walls, and other items. You can build from scratch or use one of the app’s sample rooms to get you started, then view your work in two or three dimensions.
DragonFly lets you track your changes in real time and check out what other users have uploaded in the gallery. Though you can test drive the site without doing so, saving and sharing your work requires registration.
This isn’t the only app of its kind that we’ve seen before, and if you’re looking to get serious about modelling your home, there’s very little you can find that’s better suited for modeling your home and planning improvements in 3D than Google Sketchup, but if you’d prefer a lower learning curve and quicker results, DragonFly is a good option.
