Windows only: Email search utility OutlookDeck brings a completely new interface to searching Outlook—multiple persistent search folders on the screen at a time.
OutlookDeck is meant to be an homage to the popular and previously mentioned Tweetdeck client for Twitter, a great tool for cutting down the noise on the very busy Twitter site—and the same idea works very well for a busy inbox. Using the tool couldn’t be simpler—just type in your search criteria and a new column will show up on the screen.
By creating a few crafty queries, you can really turn up the productivity meterr—add a column dedicated to email from the boss or whiny clients that need responses immediately, and another for quick access to emails for a particular project.
OutlookDeck is a free download for Windows, requires .NET Framework 3.5 and Windows Search must be enabled and active. If that wasn’t enough, you can check out our top 10 Outlook boosters to really tweak your email experience.
