Hewlett Packard Enterprise Announces Two ProLiant Servers For SMBs

In December, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) will be launching two new servers for SMBs that have to deal with multiple workloads: the ProLiant DL20 Gen9 and the ProLiant ML30 Gen9. Here’s the information HPE has released about the new offerings so far.

The two servers join HPE’s ProLiant 10 series portfolio and are designed for small businesses on a tight budget. Here are the details on the two servers, which feature the :

  • ProLiant DL20 Gen9
    This is an entry-level compact rack server for companies that need to manage their servers both onsite and remotely. It’s scalable and can handle multiple applications at once. Prices starts from $1579, depending on the configuration.
  • ProLiant ML30 Gen9
    A standalone server unit for small businesses and home offices. It has a compact design and accommodates for a range of storage expansion options. According to HP, this is ideal for growing businesses and service providers running IT infrastructure workloads with very little floor space. Prices start from $1079, depending on the configuration.

Both servers will be available through HPE channel partners from December 1. We have requested the specs of products from HPE but have heard nothing back so far. We will update this article as soon as we receive the information.
