Turn Off WebSlices in IE8 Beta

Anyone testing out the new, but familiar, features in IE8 Beta 2 might find themselves annoyed by constant mouse-over reminders of the browser's WebSlice function. Tech-Recipes.com shows how to turn the WebSlice nags off, using an option stashed deep in the preferences menu.

Has anyone tried installing Search Providers or Accelerators on IE8b2? I keep getting the infuriating "Please download IE8 for this feature" message.
