Flickr's New Slideshow Includes Video
Posted by Adam Pash at 8:15 AM on August 21, 2008
Flickr has launched a new and improved version of their slideshow tool. Most notably, the new slideshow seamlessly transitions between photos and video in the same set of slides. Thanks Sonny!

Adam - got a link to the page or user that particular picture of a dog came from? We've got a mixed breed that looks just like that, I'd be interested talking to the owner of the picture to find out what kind of dog that is.

Is anyone else having problems with the new slideshow on Flash 10 and Firefox 3? I can't seem to get it to display anything but a black page. It works just fine with IE7 and Flash 10, though.

I am getting scared. I have the old slideshow running a clients car business. It is embedded on over a hundred pages pulling his car shots from Flickr. I never could find a better slideshow than the "real" one believe it or not. It hasn't changed there yet...I am waiting.

Doesn't the Firefox extension PicLens already have this feature?

@tmanAg08: That slideshow's the one embedded in the page linked in Adam's post (here).
