The Youtube High Quality userscript isn't necessary anymore if you have a youtube account: [cybernetnews.com]

My Suggestion would be to add the following:
Youtube High Quality Automatic [userscripts.org] - Which allows for immediate no-click, logged out, HD viewing.
And, Optionally:
Download YouTube Videos as MP4 [userscripts.org] - A much simpler option. Which I personally have been using to load my ipod with music videos. Occasionally the downloading file comes named as .htm, but is still a valid mp4.

Thanks for the update. Are you planning to also update About This Site Bookmarks to make it Firefox 3 compatible?

I can select alternate video player and download scripts together and any of them individually. But the download and theater scripts can't be selected at the same time and I can.'t select all three at the same time. I also can't select the alternate video player and the theater scripts together. I'm using Firefox 3 on Leopard 10.5.4.

Oh, I just noticed that for the alternate video player is Flow Player. Has anyone found that any good? The thing that annoys me a little with it is the watermark of its logo when you fullscreen videos.. :\

Too bad I have to switch to safari whenever I want to watch a flash video because FF3 can't play them without stuttering.

I don't wanna sign on to Youtube every time I want to watch an HD video!
Hey Adam and Gina, could you please put back the HD youtube thingy back?
I'm lazy. Sorry.

@edpw: It's true, you can't select all three together on purpose--they conflict. Theater doesn't work with FlowPlayer or download. Sorry about that!

A pleasant surprise! Now I'm a bit disappointed with the lack of the HD script. I had to change my habits with YouTube, so it's not as big a deal as it was before though. The loss of the script for automatically expanding the description is still bothersome to me.

@chareverie: Yeah, is this any better than the not watermarked JW Multimedia Player?

how many times do i have to suggest a 'turn off auto:play' when viewing a youtube page. i actually run like 5 or six open, and i rather have them download instead of autoplaying so i can watch them one at a time intead of having to jump though tabs to pause them.

Completely agree with skilled1 on the auto:play feature.

Maybe I'm missing something, but this is not near what it used to be when it was working before.
You can either have Alternate Theater selected, or the Download and No Auto Play, but not both.
The full screen version doesn't allow for the No Auto Play - it is playing as soon as you navigate there.
I'm sticking with the Greasemonkey scripts for now. They are working much better all arounf.
